Delete Your CertiAcademy Account

This page applies to CertiAcademy exam-preparation accounts, including the California and Georgia Life & Health Exam Prep apps.

Delete your account in the app

Sign in to your CertiAcademy account, open Account, choose Delete account, and confirm the deletion. This is the fastest method because the request is linked directly to your signed-in account.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, send an email from the address associated with your CertiAcademy account to privacy@certiacademy.com with the subject “Delete my account.” Include only the email address used for the account. Do not send a password, payment-card information, or identity document unless we specifically request a proportionate verification step.

What we delete

Your account profile, authentication access, learning progress, answers, results, saved settings, and device assignments are deleted or irreversibly anonymized in active systems.

Confirmed deletion requests are generally completed in active systems within 30 days. Temporary backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires.

What may be retained

Transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained only for the period required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Retained records are restricted and are not used to restore the deleted learning account.
